Acceptable Use Policy
Satellite capacity is shared and finite. These rules keep the network fast for the people playing on it and keep our addresses from being blocked by game servers.
1. What the service is for
Vesperidys is for your own personal play of supported online games. One account is for one person.
2. What you must not do
- Attack anything. No denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, exploitation, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any system, including game servers, other players and our own network.
- Cheat or evade enforcement. Do not use the service to manipulate latency or packet timing to gain an unfair advantage, to get around a ban or suspension, or to defeat anti-cheat systems.
- Get around regional restrictions. Do not use the service to obtain access, pricing or content that a publisher restricts to another region.
- Carry other traffic. Do not modify the client or the tunnel to carry anything other than the traffic of supported games: no file sharing, streaming, proxying or general browsing.
- Resell or share. Do not resell the service, share your credentials, or run it for other people, for example in a gaming café or as a public relay, without a written agreement with us.
- Interfere with the network. Do not probe, overload or try to bypass our gateways, metering, authentication or security controls.
- Break the law. Do not use the service for anything illegal where you are, or to harass, threaten or defraud anyone.
3. Fair use
There is no data cap for ordinary play. If an account's usage is far outside what playing a game produces, we will contact you, and we may limit that account's traffic while we work out why.
4. What we do about violations
We may warn you, limit traffic, suspend the account or end it, depending on how serious the problem is and whether it has happened before. We act without warning where waiting would put the network or other people at risk. Accounts ended for breaking this policy are not refunded, except where the law requires it. We cooperate with valid legal requests concerning unlawful use.
5. Reporting abuse
If you are receiving abusive traffic from our network, write to [email protected] with timestamps including time zone, source and destination addresses and ports, and any logs you have.
